Planned Itinerary - August 2001 to May 2002
The tentative route planned for the expedition is as follows:

• From Perth, Scotland down through Eng Midlands to Channel Tunnel
• France, down to just north of Paris then back up through Belgium below Brussels.
• Germany down through West and South to Austria
• Austria across north and east
• Slovakia south west corner
• Hungary through the middle
• Romania down through middle and out the south east corner
• Bulgaria across north, east and south
• Turkey down to Gallipoli, Istanbul round med and up through middle before crossing down into Iran
• Iran along Caspian Sea, Tehran, Estafan, Shiraz, Zedehan and into Pakistan
• Pakistan around Afghanistan and remaining north of Islamabad
• China arriving via Karakorum, south of Taglamakan desert, up to Urumqi, across to Lanzhou, Wuhan back west to Chongqing, Chengdu, corner of Tibet, south east through Kunming to Laos
• Laos straight through
• Thailand s bend down it
• Malaysia down main highway to KL across peninsula to East coast down to Singapore
• Boat via East Timor to Darwin
• Australia - Darwin Kakadu NP, Kimberley's, Canning Stock route across north western desert of WA to coast then down to Perth
