Perth2Perth would not be the same without the growing band of supporters known as ‘Friends of Perth2Perth’. ‘Friends’ were recruited initially from among team members’ immediate friends and family, but now the scope is widening to include former colleagues, study partners, and even from readers who have visited the website and enjoyed it so much that they wanted more. ‘Friends’ receive exclusive emails and photo-journals sent direct to their preferred email address. These feature news, commentary on the places visited, gossip and photos of the team that are not included on the website, and are sent out as regularly as technology permits!

We have suggested a guide subscription price of £25 (or equivalent in US dollars, Australian dollars or euros) to become a Friend of Perth2Perth, but many people have shown their support by giving more. Anyone giving £50 or more qualifies as a ‘Best Friend’, and will receive a mystery gift at the end of the trip. These subscriptions help to fund the expedition, as the team is largely self-financing.



It is so important to the team on the road and the home support team in the UK to know that we all have your encouragement and we hope to welcome more ‘Friends’ along the way.
